Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.
Ephesians 5:1
Thoughts ~ ARE YOU A COPY CAT?
In school we were warned about plagiarism all of the time. We even had to sign agreements not to copy anyone's work in our essays, power points or papers.
Copying art work is a form of plagiarism but it can also be a HUGE complement. In the case of the graphics I make here for Trust in the Lord, I see it as an amazing testimony that the Lord uses my faith inspired encouragement graphics for His glory. He uses me. I am humbled. So totally humbled. After all, it is the Lord that created my brain to see things visually, not me.
This morning I was surprised to see some of my designs being copied, not exactly, but very close. I was not annoyed at all . . . but so happy that someone liked them enough to use my ideas for their own page. While I openly share anything with all pages and Facebook-internet users, it appears they wanted their own slant on them, adding their own page "address."
And it got me to thinking. Let me share it with you sweet followers of my Trust in the Lord page, okay?
Action ~ I want to be a copy cat. Of Jesus.
I want to love like Jesus did while He walked on earth.
I want to make a difference every day in the lives and hearts of people I come in contact with like He did.
I want to copy His way of living simply.
I want to make people more important than the material things of the world like He did.
I want to trust the Father completely like He did.
I want to copy Jesus' prayer time.
I want to follow Him. And Him alone.
Sometimes being a copy cat is just the right thing to do.
Prayer ~ Oh, Father, I want to copy Your Son and be an imitator of You. Remind me Lord, that following You is far better than following the crowd.
Trusting in the Lord,
This blessed my spirit today! Thank you for sharing. Abundant blessings on your day.
